The Founder And Chairman of Vikash Abhiyan Sangh Padma Shri Dr Jagdish Prasad Is a Cardiac Surgeon and he has worked as a Director and Principal of Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital later on he has served as a Director General of Health Service Government of India for nearly 8 years.

He is Founder Principal of Vardhman Mahavir Medical College. During his service period he has also served the poor and needy People. He used to go to rural areas and conducted many health camps in different parts of the country. During the health camp The patients requiring a specialised treatment were referred to Specialty and Super Specialty Hospital for necessary treatment. He also used to see that they got free treatment in such hospitals. As a Director General of Health Service he has worked for eliminating Kala Zar, leprosy tuberculosis and many other infectious diseases. During his tenure as a DGHS government of India he launched a national programme for non communicable disease for the first time in the world in 2011. He conducted many seminars for eliminating blind faith from the mind of People.He is Founder Principal of Vardhman Mahavir Medical College. He spent most of his carrier during service period in serving the poor and needy People and he used to go to rural and conducted many health camps in different parts of country in rural areas and patient who require a specialised were referred to Super Specialty and Specialty Hospital for necessary treatment in that he has seen that they got free treatment as a Director General of Health Service he has worked for eliminating Kala Jar, leprosy tuberculosis and many other infectious disease.
